After not only having an Insulin Resistant horse and a Cushing’s horse, and struggled for years trying to get their medications into them, I decided it was time to create metabolic safe horse brownie so that I could easily hide their medications and give them a treat at the same time without feeling guilty about it.
I currently have a pumpkin cinnamon and cinnamon clove metabolic safe brownie available that has been tested on many horses and has been getting rave reviews! I also have classic sugar brownies available for those horses that are allowed and can tolerate molasses.
These brownies are easy to break apart into tiny pieces to prolong the treat for your beloved horses, and super easy to hide pills in them without the hassle of trying to soften the brownie up. My horses literally stand waiting for their medication before going to their breakfast because they love these brownies so much!
